We were invited to review a spy bag from the Netflix show ‘Project Mc2’ A programme which encourages girls (not limited to) with S.T.E.A.M subjects (Science,technology,engineering,art and maths).
The programme on Netflix is a spy and science mission programme with some strong girl characters heading off on adventures. Big A loved the series on Netflix and is a big fan of the show.

Opening up to reveal a forensic fingerprinting kit, the bag contains an air blower disguised as a perfume bottle, a magnifying glass hidden in a make up compact, a torch hidden in a nail polish bottle, test tubes, secret messages and much more.
Big A was really excited to receive the spy kit ‘Wow this is like the one they have on the show’. She was excited to get it opened and see what was inside. I was quite excited as a parent to discover fingerprints on surfaces…. and was kind of grossed out too!

Things we loved: • Stylish and appealing • Reusable • Batteries are already included and in place • Encourages interest in the science • Multi-functional
Things we didn’t love: •No pipette • Need to buy ingredients for the science experiments • Catch is hard to open • Need tape for the fingerprint element
Overall: Big A liked that we could reuse the kit over and over by trying new experiments from the ultimate spy book, it even has spaces to write/draw and make notes. We would definitely recommend this product at the recommended retail price of £24.99 as a great gift idea for any fan of Project Mc2.
