During half term we were fortunate to have been gifted tickets to attend Roarr dinosaur adventure when they had their Dippy’s halloween days event on.

As previous season ticket holders, Roarr (or The dinosaur park as it was previously known as) has a place in our hearts and has been a attraction where many memories have been made.
With Covid-19 restrictions we were interested to see how they would manage so many people especially during half term. We were impressed with the online booking system and on arrival checking in was fast and a smooth process. Overall we felt very safe with lots of stations for cleaning hands and the need to wear masks inside the soft play if over 11.
We enjoyed a walk around the park looking for the skeleton bones trail which was new for half term. We love to visit the animals at the bottom of the park, the wallabies and guinea pigs are our favourites.
The outdoor play equipment is like nowhere else we have been before, with a great range of climbing frames for all ages. The high ropes are also fantastic for older children – with a nearly teenager this is a massive hit in our house. We didn’t manage to use the high ropes this visit unfortunately due to the rain.
Roarr also offers crazy golf and NEW go carts to ride and in the summer the waterpark which are all included in the price of your visit which we think is fantastic!
There is now also an extra indoor area for younger toddlers and babies with lots of activities attached to the walls and usually (pre-covid soft play). During half term they used this area for craft (a colouring activity) which we welcomed as it was very rainy and cold.

We had a great time together enjoying our half term at Roarr. We were shocked that you now need to pay £1.50 per person to enter the soft play area for an hour during your booked time slot, however understand that times are hard to attractions and if this is what needs to be charged to ensure it is safe and clean it is worth it! With the covid restrictions meaning less people could use the soft play it was was much calmer and quieter which was welcomed and a much nicer atmosphere than usual.

Roarr for us is a great family day out with so much to see and do. We feel very fortunate to live locally and would highly recommend to anyone who comes to visit Norfolk on holiday, there is so much to see and do you can spent a full day exploring.
We hope after lockdown Roarr can reopen and have a really great Christmas. They are offering a Christmas Grotto event this year, check out their website for the latest up to date information as changes may be implemented due to Covid restrictions constantly being updated. https://www.roarrdinosauradventure.co.uk/

I think my girls would enjoy the waterpark in the summer months. Roll on no more covid so the kids can enjoy everything freely, this looks as if there is lots on offer. Mich x

This sounds like a great day out and lots of fun for kids of all ages too! I would be a little miffed at the £1.50 soft play charge if I had already paid to get in, especially if you had to pay for adults/older kids too who wouldn’t be playing! But all round it sounds like a great day out, even in the rain! x
