Twinkle town Norwich is a unique play centre a little world for big imaginations. They have a soft play baby cafe downstairs and a play centre upstairs which is centred around role play.
It is located on Sussex street near Mr Plastics/The Talk. With free limited on street parking it is a good idea to give yourself enough time to find somewhere to park before your session time.
They have various role play areas set out with props to play with and dress up, when we have been before they have also had find the … cards or a treasure hunt on at special times of the year.
The role play areas they have at the moment are : Shopping area with trolleys and lots of food boxes etcs, Post Office, Doctors/X-ray, Fire engine and pole, Cafe area, Building and construction, Police station and jail, Theatre and dressing up and Hairdressers. In the middle area there are also cars, ride ons and a small trampoline.
The idea is to play with your little ones in the various areas with the props as an aid to your fun. Little K loves to visit the play centre each half term and at nearly 6 still enjoys dressing up, playing shops and every time we visit she enjoys handcuffing me and putting me into jail. Big A has also been a few times although isn’t as keen anymore.
The sensory and baby group sessions they offer look amazing. Unfortunately both my girls are not too old for these but the photographs look amazing with creative ideas.
Twinkle town sell reasonably priced food and snacks (you are not allowed to take your own). They offer birthday parties, group bookings, mascots, special events and offer additional services such as hair dresser and a photographer.
This is their current offer on upcoming Birthday Parties.
Twinkle Town is a friendly place for families and new parents to come along to. Speaking to Ingrid, both Ingrid and Lianne both found meeting new parents and getting out difficult at times when they first had their own children. Between them they have 7 children and a wealth of knowledge of where to go to get help if you need it. Lianne is a fully qualified Baby massage teacher which helps with babies digestion wind colic bone development and parents bonding with baby.
This is their weekly timetable:
