Bewilderwood Norfolk

We were thrilled to be invited to visit Bewilderwood in half term (gifted) in exchange for an honest review.53435176_2135062303253010_5506677325112016896_n

We visited on the last day of half term expecting it to be crazily busy but it was lovely and quiet, when we went through the gates the park had written our name on the chalkboard which I thought was fab.

The ‘Towering treetop tangles’ is a their new climbing treetop adventure.

We liked the new addition it was big, there were lots of different ways of climbing, fantastic for adults to join in with too. No small tunnels which parents struggle to get through. It also wasn’t too difficult that little ones wouldn’t be able to partake. We enjoyed this new addition, it was a bit different to each of the other climbing areas.

We enjoyed the boat trip across the lake, the boat driver was very enthusiastic at telling us the story and chatting to us on our journey. It was beautiful and sunny too which helped.

The girls enjoyed having their faces painted which was FREE!!! We enjoyed some delicious ice creams too to refuel before more climbing. The girls loved the zip wires and went on them over and over and over again.

Each of the treetop adventures is slightly different, one you have to find the words on feathers, another you find the broken bridge. They also had a trail on where you had to find the letters around the park to spell a word. On exit of the park you can visit the gift shop or collect your reward ‘a badge’ on the way out.

We raced through the maze, adults vs children which was hilarious! We shared lots of laughter at Bewilderwood.

The story-teller was fantastic, she was enthusiastic, talented at her job. We loved the interactive elements of letting the children join in with telling the story. K and A were up on stage joining in.

The climbing frames are well build, there is a climbing frame for all ages. An area for younger children and if you are feeling brave some awesome fast slides which you use with a sack. These are way to scary for me, watching it seems to be the parents screaming more than the children.

We bought lunch at Bewilderwood and felt the prices were reasonable for an ‘attraction’. I enjoyed a jacket potato and the girls had a lunch pack each containing a roll, crisps, babybell, raisins, gingerbread men and a fruit juice costing £4.95. We like that Bewilderwood are aware of the environment and don’t send any waste to landfill.

At the moment the park is only open at the weekends in low season but after Easter they will be open all week.

The season ticket prices are really good value if you go a few times during the year and live locally.

WILD WILD WILD passes are unlimited visits for a year and cost.

Almost WILD pass – 92cm-105cm £70

BeWILD Now Pass – Taller than 105cm £75

Still WILD Pass 65+ £45

We had a fantastic time outside in the fresh air being active. We love the story element of the park and the story time they have at the stage changes throughout the day so if we returned again we could listen to a different story so it doesn’t get samey! We ran out of time to den build but there is a fantastic area to just be free and build dens. The park was extremely well looked after with no litter anywhere. They are also opening another area at Easter.

They have events and trails on throughout the year, which change regularly.

MOTHERS go for FREE on mothers day with a paying person.

K says ‘It was great fun & thank you Bewilderwood!’ A says ‘Bewilderwood is amazing’.

  1. I love how this is great for all the family not matter how old or big or small. The different activities like finding words as you climb would be great for the older ones!
