On Sunday we visited The Pleasure beach Great Yarmouth on the sea front. As a child this was somewhere I spent many a summer with my family on a family day out by the seaside. I was glad to see they still had the traditional wooden roller coaster running. Since we last visited they had lots of additional new rides, many rides had been redecorated and the addition of the 4D cinema.
They offer a wide range of rides with something for all the family ranging from the classic snails and fairy tales to the traditional wooden rollercoaster plus a 4D cinema experience. The park is open weekends and some special events until the summer. Have a look at their website before deciding to visit.
Cost: Tokens cost £1 or you can buy 40 tokens for £30. Each ride varies in cost of tokens.Wristbands cost £21.50 for 7 years + £16.50 for 4-6 years or a parent and toddler (2-3 years) wristband for £26.50.
It is definitely worth getting a wristband if you are going to visit for the day, you can go on the rides as many times as you like, the girls enjoyed this and the queues were short so we managed to go on some rides many times.
As the girls are getting older they are becoming braver.. and even K loved the rollercoaster. They went on every ride during the day expect the family star, free drop and the log flume. There was something for everyone from wimps to the more adventurous. The 4D cinema was good although the actions didn’t seem to match up as well as some 4D experiences we have been to (we’ve been spoilt by Disneyland Paris).
Overall: We had a fantastic day out as a family grandparents included. Great Yarmouth offer fireworks on a Wednesday evening throughout the summer, so this would be a great time to visit. Our favourite ride was the rollercoaster, we love that it is traditional and still controlled by a man sitting on the ride.

We visited on a gifted basis we received free wristbands in order to write an honest review.
OK now, this looks like such a fun place to go and explore! It seems like there is a lot to do for the whole family, I mean who doesn’t love a fairground ride!

I have so many fond memories of the Pleasure Beach at Great Yarmouth. Last time I was there was 2016 when I was heavily pregnant with Olivia – Jack really enjoyed himself. I’d love to go back again one day

Sounds like a fun trip. I would always get a wristband somewhere like this but sadly my boyfriend isn’t a fan of rides x
